矢作川支流の巴川上流に昭和３８年に築造されたダム（三河湖）。観光地として整備が進んでおり、四季を通じて楽しむことが出来、香恋の館・三河湖から流れる巴川の畔にある「水車と香りのテーマ館」は、田舎の香りをテーマにした観光施設です。
